Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Guwahati, drive to Bhalukpong (entry point to Arunachal). Scenic forest drive.
Day 2
Drive from Bhalukpong to Dirang. Visit Dirang Dzong (fortress) and Kiwi orchards.
Day 3
Drive from Dirang to Tawang via Sela Pass (13,700 ft) and Sela Lake. Visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial.
Day 4
Full day Tawang sightseeing: Tawang Monastery (second largest in the world), Giant Buddha Statue, and local market.
Day 5
Excursion to Madhuri Lake (Shonga-tser Lake) and Bumla Pass (Indo-China Border) - optional, local taxi required.
Day 6
Drive back to Bomdila from Tawang. Visit Bomdila Monastery and view spectacular sunsets.
Day 7
Drive back from Bomdila to Guwahati for airport/station drop.
